A woman in conversation, finally feeling seen and heard.

Whole-person health coaching for women in (peri)menopause

Finally the whole picture

You've felt for a while now that something isn't right, but you haven't been able to zoom out far enough to see how it connects. So we start with your story. From there, we lay the puzzle pieces next to each other together, until you recognize yourself in them and have the reins back in your own hands.

Finally seen, finally heard

You might recognize this: something that used to just work suddenly stops responding the way you're used to. Your weight seems stuck, even though you haven't really changed how you eat. Your energy drains away sooner, a broken night's sleep lingers longer, and on exactly the busiest days cravings can suddenly feel much stronger. Meanwhile you keep everything running — your work, your family, the appointments, and the people counting on you.

What this does to you is sometimes hard to put into words. You recognize yourself less in the mirror and notice you're overwhelmed more quickly. And when you then hear that this is simply what comes with your age, the question you came in with stays unanswered. Underneath that frustration there's often a quiet fear:

What if this is permanent, and from here it only gets worse?

That fear doesn't deserve a quick reassurance, but a place where your story is taken seriously and where we zoom out to see the whole picture.

These signals are not separate from each other

At Back to Balance, recognizing patterns is central. Your story is the starting point, with information from a body measurement as an addition when that fits your route.

The missing link becomes visible when we connect the information that's already there. Once the connections become clearer, there's room to decide which first step fits you and which door you want to come in through.

Whichever route you choose, I listen to what you're experiencing and look with you at the connections underneath it. Together we translate new insights into steps that fit your life, so that you keep the reins in your own hands.

About my approach

Two ways to begin

Do you first want to understand which patterns around food and lifestyle are playing a role? Or are you longing for a concrete picture of how your body is doing? At Back to Balance you can begin in two ways.

WILDFIT®

In this group program you learn to look at your relationship with food through the lens of behavior and evolutionary biology. The starting point isn't that you need to try harder, but that you first understand why you do what you do.

Body measurement and treatments

The body measurement gives a personal picture of where you stand. From that information and your own story, we look together at which physical support fits you.

Both routes are valuable. If it fits you, we can connect them, so that changes in food and lifestyle and the physical support complement and strengthen each other.

How are you really doing?

A personal reflection check about your energy, physical changes, and how you feel day to day.

About Marja

Why I look at the whole picture

I experienced for years myself how confusing it is when every conversation highlights a different piece. I tried to understand what was going on, but was left with loose puzzle pieces.

That experience has shaped how I work now. I learned to zoom out, recognize connections, and stay curious about what's still missing. That's why I also want to get to know your story: what you notice, what you've already tried, and what you'd like to be able to do again. From there, we look further together.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know where to start?

No. You don't need to make a choice in advance. During an introduction or body measurement, we look together at what's fitting right now.

Is Back to Balance suitable for chronic pain or fibromyalgia?

Yes. Many women with chronic pain or fibromyalgia feel drawn to Back to Balance's calm and attuned way of working. We don't treat diagnoses, but support the body in recovery and regulation, always within what's achievable, with extra attention for sensitivity to stimuli and resilience.

Can I combine this with regular care or medication?

Yes, in most cases you can. Discuss beforehand what care you're receiving and what medication you're using, so we can look at what's fitting.

Do I need to start with a programme right away?

No. You can also start with a single treatment, body measurement, or conversation.

What if it doesn't fit me?

After an introduction or body measurement, you're not obliged to anything. You decide for yourself whether you want to continue and which form of guidance fits you.

If you choose a programme or a package of treatments, we discuss the arrangements beforehand. Different additional guarantee or compensation arrangements apply to the package of ten treatments, WILDERBODY® and VIP Transformation. You'll find the conditions for these in our terms and conditions.

Can I also ask a question first, without making an appointment?

Yes. Via WhatsApp you can easily ask a question without making an appointment right away.

Free introduction

Discover which next step fits you

You might recognize a lot of what you've read here, but still not know which step fits you. In an introductory conversation there's room to share what's on your mind and ask your questions. Together we explore how my guidance can fit what you're looking for.

The conversation is free and doesn't commit you to anything. Afterwards you'll have a clearer picture of the options and can calmly feel into and consider what fits you. You choose your next step, on your own moment.

Knowledge base

Keep reading and discover connections yourself

Sometimes insight starts with something small. You read an article and recognize something from your own day: that craving for something sweet in the afternoon, or still waking up tired after a long night's sleep.

In the knowledge base I share explanations and insights about nutrition, lifestyle, and (peri)menopause. You can read at your own pace and discover which questions about your own situation you want to explore.

Snot happens

Why health mainly means that your body can find its way back, not that you never get ill.

Have we really always eaten potatoes?

A short history of a familiar tuber and why context matters more than nostalgia.

What happens when your body finally gets water again

Sometimes we look far too hard for the solution to our fatigue, cravings, or restlessness.
